How to Fix an Incomplete Integration Connection

Updated over 2 months ago

Sometimes an integration may appear as Setup Incomplete. This usually means the authorization process wasn’t fully completed. This guide explains what that means and how to fix it.

What an Incomplete Connection Means

An integration shows as Setup Incomplete when Vendro has not finished OAuth authorization with the connected platform.

Common reasons include:

  • The setup window was closed before authorization finished

  • Required permissions were not approved

  • The connection timed out during setup

When this happens, Vendro cannot begin syncing data until setup is completed.

How to Complete Setup

If your integration shows Setup Incomplete, you have two options:

Option 1: Resume Setup (Recommended)

  1. Open Integrations in Vendro

  2. Click the integration showing Setup Incomplete

  3. Click Complete Setup

  4. Follow the authorization prompts until completion

Once finished, the integration status will update and syncing will begin automatically.

Option 2: Disconnect and Reconnect

If resuming setup doesn’t work:

  1. Click Disconnect on the incomplete integration

  2. Wait approximately 10 minutes

  3. Refresh the Vendro page

  4. Reconnect the integration from scratch

  5. Complete the authorization flow fully

This clears any partial or stalled connection state.

What Happens After Setup Is Completed

  • The integration will show as Connected

  • Initial data sync may take up to 24 hours

  • After the initial sync, Vendro automatically re-syncs new data based on the integration’s schedule (for Shopify, this occurs every 6 hours)

Still Having Issues?

If your integration continues to show as incomplete after reconnecting, please contact Vendro support with:

  • The integration name

  • Approximate time of connection attempt

  • Any error messages shown during setup
